Shopping For Modern Office Furniture On A Budget

Modern office furniture is far and away the the most popular style of furniture in the industry. Often, the latest trends in this realm will be high priced due to the advanced technology. Let's face it, anything new, exciting, and cutting edge tends to cost consumers more of there hard earned money. That being said, I wanted to take the time to highlight some respected manufacturers that offer modern office furniture at affordable prices.

Some of the office furniture industries leading manufacturers consist of Mayline, Safco, and Office Star. When it comes to modern styling, these manufacturers strive to set trends. Not to follow them. Products by these respected companies are affordable, and offer quality craftsmanship, along with beneficial ergonomic features that will help improve your day to day productivity in the workplace. Mayline for example, has added some modern office desks to there economically priced Eastwinds furniture series. The desk shown on this post is from that series, and is priced at $139.99. On this desk you will notice the curved, sleek leg design found on most high priced modern office desks. Truly, this desk is one of the greatest bargains for those shopping for a modern piece of office furniture for there home.

The Safco Office Products and Office Star Furniture lines are not to be left out. They are currently offering a wide variety of modern office chairs and computer desks for the home, dorm room, or small business. These items are eye catching and best of all affordable. Finding products from these manufacturers is actually quite simple. Most any vendor worth there weight will carry products from all three. Often, these products can even be found with free shipping.

In closing, having a modern office desk in your home does not have to cost a small fortune. You can still have the wow factor of a cutting edge desk or chair for under $200. You just have to do a little research and find the right manufacturer for your individual style.

Traditional Office Furniture is Always in Style

With all of the latest styles and trends in modern office furniture, I thought it would be nice to do a post on the more traditional office furniture from companies like Mayline. While Mayline is a leader in the modern office furniture realm as well, for those looking for that timeless style of traditional wood office furniture they are an excellent choice. One great thing about traditional office furniture is that it never seems to go out of style. No matter the current trends, your always going to turn heads with that classic look.

Take a popular series of traditional furniture like the Sorrento series by Mayline. The Sorrento veneer desking system is a transitional line of wood office furniture for executive offices, individual work spaces, conference rooms and reception areas. This line combines a high end look and technology-friendly features. Sorrento uses AA-grade North American Hardwood veneers throughout. The first thing you notice when you see this line is the bourbon cherry finish with bird's eye maple inlays. In one word, beautiful!

To wrap this up, styles in modern office furniture are always changing. You see a new futuristic desk or chair come out every day. To me these styles are very cool and push the industry standard. For my money however, I prefer the look that I know will stand the test of time.
